Engagements with Lisa and Troy | Little Rock Arkansas Wedding Photographer

Lisa and Troy hold an extra special place in my heart.

I worked with both Lisa and Troy several years ago when I worked at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. For 15 years I was a staff photographer in the newsroom at the ADG and for many of those years I worked with Lisa and Troy. Lisa worked with the on-line news department and Troy as a sports writer.

Those days are long gone for me, but Lisa and Troy are going strong. Lisa now works as social media director for client relations at a local advertising agency and you can still find Troy's byline covering the ASU and UALR beats for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

I was so excited when Lisa asked me to be their wedding photographer for the big day in June. I had a great time in early November during their engagement photo session.

Much love to them both!

Engagements with Caroline & Pete | Old Mill | Arkansas Wedding Photographer

Caroline & Pete had one of the hottest days in July for their engagement session.

And it showed. On me. I was a hot mess.

But for Caroline & Pete, they looked radiant and perfect!! I just adored working with these two. I won't get to see Pete for a while since he just started U of A law school (big congrats to him!) I'll see Caroline again in the spring for bridals and I know she will look just a perfect.

Here are my faves from their summer engagement session. Enjoy!

Engagements with Andria and Zach | Arkansas Wedding Photographer

I met up with Andria and Zach a few weeks ago on a near-perfect early, spring day for their engagement session. The couple traveled in from their home near Jonesboro.

Our first stop was the Old Mill in North Little Rock. The Old Mill is a very popular spot for families and since it was Spring Break week, it was pretty busy. I do not like people in my backgrounds, unless I shoot a photo specifically in a busy location. But with a little patience and specific camera angles and location, it looks like they have the place to themselves.

After we left The Old Mill, we headed downtown to the Arkansas State Capitol. They have a long row of stunning Japanese Maples that were in bloom so photos they were a must.

The camera loved Andria and Zach, just as much as they love each other.

I can't wait to share in their wedding day in Jonesboro in early August.
