2015 Bridal Fair

What a great 2015 Bridal Fair hosted by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette!!!

I kept things simple this year with a small! 10x10 booth, a homemade streamer backdrop strung with an array of 8x10s prints attached to parachute cord with binder clips. Fancy huh???

I like to keep things no-fuss for one simple reason, I want my wedding photography to speak for itself.

I do want to give a big shout out to Jonathan " J. Nunn" with Klassik Entertainment for surprising me with two uplights.

After my set up was compete, Mike (hubby) and myself walked over to the Capital Hotel for an early brunch before the event and when we got back, the two uplights were there! For any brides-to-be, I cannot stress the importance of uplighting. These simple (and inexpensive) colored LED lights placed strategically around your reception venue will have a HUGE impact on your room...and your photos. The more colorful the better. It's that simple.

This year, I decided to give away a bridal or engagement session; winners choice. A big gold star goes out to all the brides who are planning 2016 weddings. About 25% of my 217 entires were for 2016 weddings! This year, I drew TWO winners: one from 2015 and one from 2016.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello, especially my current brides. Many of you came out to check out the other 200+ vendors and you took the time to say hello. And that meant a lot!

And the winners are..... check back tomorrow for their names.

Congratulations to you all
