Molly blew me away the moment I saw her.
I knew this session would be special.
And I was right.
I had met Molly for the first time on the day of her bridal session. And six days before her wedding. Molly, like a lot of clients, had booked me on-line from what she saw in my photos. This is always a huge compliment. We had wanted to meet, but due to our schedules, meeting months or weeks was not possible.
From the moment I saw her, I knew I'd love photographing her.
Molly's bridals were photographed at the Conway Country Club. Molly chose an ivory dress with the bodice covered in crystals. It was "her". Everything about that dress was the perfect compliment to Molly. Both she and the dress really shined.
After I finished photographing Molly wearing her wedding dress, she changed into her mother's wedding dress. I LOVE when brides want a few photos wearing their mother's wedding dresses. It is such a lovely and special way to honor ones mother.
On a personal note....When I saw this dress, my heart smiled. Mom's wedding dress struck an eerie resemblance to the dress I wore for my first Communion back in 1980 at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic School in New Orleans. I remember every little thing about this dress because it still hangs in my bedroom closet. Even the delicate floral veil looks just like mine.
I could have spent a full session photographing Molly in just this dress alone. It was that perfect for her.
